Makerspace and Crafting Equipment: Grand Island Campus

The Library Resource Center (LRC) on the Grand Island Campus has makerspace equipment available in the form of a button maker, circle cutter, or button machine supplies. These can be used by Central Community College faculty and staff to make magnets, pin buttons, or clip buttons. Items made with the button machine can be from personal photos/design and are limited to small quantities for non-commercial use. To use the button machine, please visit Room 206 or contact a library staff member.

Makerspace and Crafting Equipment: Hastings Campus

The Library Resource Center (LRC) on the Hastings Campus has the following makerspace equipment that can be used by Central Community College faculty, staff, or students:

  • The 'Ultlima 35Ez-Load Laminator' can be used to laminate papers up to 12 inches wide.
  • The 'button maker and circle cutter' can be used to make pins, magnets and keychains. Items made with the button machine can be from personal photos/designs and are limited to small quantities for non-commercial use.
  • The 'AccuCut/Ellison Diecut Machine' can be used to make letters and shapes.  The library has a complete set of alphabet letters, numbers, and some seasonal and holiday shapes.

To use the makerspace equipment, please visit the Dawson Building, Room 302 or contact a library staff member.
